1. The service
SymptomSense is a symptom and health-pattern journal. You log daily entries for 21 days and the app highlights statistical patterns in your own data and packages them into a report you can bring to your doctor.
2. Not medical advice
SymptomSense is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. If you are worried about your health, or the app shows a safety alert, contact a clinician or emergency services. You are responsible for decisions made based on your own data.
3. Your account
You must provide a valid email and keep your password confidential. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent.
4. Your data
You own the data you log. We process it only as described in the Privacy Policy, which requires your explicit consent for health data. You can export everything as JSON from Settings.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use the app for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Paid features
Some features (such as premium reports) may require payment. Prices are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see your card number.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
